This Advance poster is from the Spider-Man film that was announced in 1985. Though Cannon optioned the rights to the series in 1985, financial issues prevented the film from being produced within the five year period, as required by their contract with Marvel Comics. Cannon released (prematurely it seems) these teaser 'transit' posters which were pasted and hung all over subways and train stations. It is a little larger than a traditional one sheet. Because these were pasted on walls it is very rare to find one of these intact. It is even more rare to find one in this condition.
This EXTREMELY RARE poster is highly sought after by comic book and original poster collectors. This is a MUST HAVE for your collection. It would be nearly impossible to find another one of these posters in this condition as very few were printed and even fewer survived.
This poster comes rolled as issued. This poster is in C9-C10 Near Mint-Mint Condition.
