Based on Pierre Boulle's satirical novel Monkey Planet, this Arthur P. Jacobs production was in development for many years before finally being green-lit by 20th Century Fox. Star Charlton Heston was instrumental in getting the project launched as one of its biggest boosters. Offered here is the evocative one sheet, featuring Maurice Evans as the venerable Doctor Zaius.
 
This poster has been professionally linen backed and is ready to frame. Restoration has addressed minor flaws such as fold line wear, cross fold separation, surface scuffs, handling wear, etc. This poster is now in C8-C9 Excellent to Near Mint condition.
