This is a guaranteed original civil defense lithograph poster. This is not a REPRINT or a REPRODUCTION.
This is a gorgeous poster and a great peice of American History. Originally issued by the Office of Emergency Management's Division of Information and designed by Herbert Matter. The photo is of a great American eagle at the National Zoological Park in Washington, DC and photographed by Arthur Fisher. It is signed in plate by the artist at upper right corner.
It measures 30" X 40 1/4" on heavy stock and has never been folded as most of these were. This restored poster is in C8-C9 Excellent to Near Mint condition and is professionally linen backed.
This poster ships rolled as issued and is a must have for all collectors of Americana, Militaria, and Original Posters.
